Oh, no! It's raining! And I have a craft fair tomorrow! *panic*
Here's hoping that it's a nice day out tomorrow. Otherwise...well, paper jewelry + rain = disaster, ha!
Anyway.
This post is to inform my practically nonexistent readers *snarkety-snark* that I will be at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center for the Winter Solstice Festival tomorrow, from 12-4, rain or shine. At least, that's the plan. If it's really thundering and pouring and all that, I'm not so sure since they might cancel the event. I'll post an update if I'm not, pinky swear.
This is the address:
1201 W Malvern Ave
Fullerton, CA 92833
I'm told that there will be other entertainment, such as...Santa!! So if you have something to say to the Big Red Dude, then you might want to show up. *grin* There will also be music, as always.
Anyway, as far as new stuff goes, again, I have failed to take proper pictures.
But here's a picture from my phone of some new friendship bracelets. They're great because you don't have to tie them on because they have actual clasps - they look grown-up and chic, but also a bit bohemian at the same time. The one on the left in the picture isn't done yet...But it will be by tomorrow!
See you there! (???) (please don't rain on me...)

Threads of Insanity will be at the Ukulele Festival at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center on 9/20!
I tend to neglect my blog in favor of making things. Mea culpa.
However, this time around I remembered to post in time for my next craft fair, which will take place on 9/20/2015 from 12-4 at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center's Ukulele Festival - 50th Anniversary Celebration.
This is the address:
1201 W Malvern Ave
Fullerton, CA 92833
Here is so me information about the Ukulele Festival from the Muck's site:
"In the 1960s, ukes were all the rage. Join us as we bring ukes back for this hootenanny happening! Featuring Janet Klein & Her Parlor Boys, Ian Whitcomb, Loa Greyson (Tini Grey from Season 7 of The Voice), 80bug and more!
While you tap your feet to some amazing tunes, stroll through an arts & crafts fair, enjoy craft beer from Fullerton’s Bootlegger’s Brewery, and play some bocce ball on our lawns!"

(Sorry about the poor editing job. I uploaded these from my phone. *Bad ThreadsofInsanity*).
The first ones are earrings made out of canned food tabs (which are bigger than soda can tops) and made "trendy" by adding gold along the top.
The second are actually the little filters you find in K-cups (Keurig cups for coffee and tea), which I took out, cleaned, and painted gold. I think they look kind of cool, and from what I've seen online, no one has done this with these before.
I also have a new series of jewelry made out of beautiful broken ceramic pieces given to me by Rowan Harrison (http://www.twotribespottery.blogspot.com/). Thanks, Rowan!
Anyway, that is what I have been up to.
See y'all on Sunday!
